Measuring

All items are measured in inches as accurately as possible with the item lying flat and un-stretched, using a fabric tape measure. Vintage sizing is significantly different than modern sizing so please pay attention to actual measurements given for each item.

Dresses/Skirts

• Dress length: shoulder to hem
• Waist: measured across where the average waist falls then doubled
• Skirt length: waistband to hem
• Hips: measured across where the average hips fall then doubled

Coats/Shirts/Blouses

• Arm length: shoulder seam to wrist hem
• Bust/Chest: underarm seam across chest to opposite underarm then doubled
• Length: shoulder to hem, or straight down back, not including collar
• Waist: measured at the natural waist then doubled

Pants

• Waist: measured across where the average waist falls then doubled
• Length (inseam): measured from crotch seam to the bottom of the pant leg
